Prepare the marinade and chicken (15 minutes)
In a mixing bowl, combine the smoked paprika, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken drumsticks and coat thoroughly with the marinade. Let sit for 10 minutes at room temperature before grilling.
Grill the drumsticks (25 minutes)
Preheat the grill to medium-high direct heat, about 200°C (400°F). Place the drumsticks on the grill over direct heat. Cook for 10-12 minutes per side, turning occasionally to avoid burning, until cooked through and charred in spots. Use an instant-read thermometer to check for an internal temperature of 75°C (167°F).
Rest the chicken (5 minutes)
Remove the drumsticks from the grill and rest them for 5 minutes before serving.
